One Trip, Ten Places To Plan

Every time my friends or family planned a trip, it turned into a mess of shared docs, spreadsheets, booking sites, and back-and-forth messages. It felt like planning the trip was harder than taking it. I wanted to fix that by building something better, one app where everything and everyone could live.

A Shared Itinerary, Built Together

Viajo is a hub for collaborative travel planning. You can create a trip, invite others, and build your day-by-day itinerary together. View your plans as a list or mapped out geographically using the Google Maps API. You can see who’s going, what’s happening when, and where it’s all taking place, without jumping around to different apps.

Designer, Developer, Frequent Flyer

This is a solo passion project. I wrote the code, designed the interface, added subtle animations, architected the database, and built out the feature set from scratch. It’s still in progress, but every screen and interaction is intentionally crafted to make travel planning feel easier and even a little fun. Like every solo project I work on, Viajo is an opportunity to learn new technology and practice my skills across the stack.

Packing List:

  • Next.js for server-side rendering and routing

  • Supabase for data and auth

  • Mantine UI for styling and components

  • Google Maps API for location and itinerary views

  • Vercel for fast, seamless deployment
